Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Soundtrack to be Released on LP by Poles
A remastered soundtrack from Heroes 3 has been announced. The refreshed music from HoMM3 will be released as an LP by a Polish company.
Polish Game Music website has just launched pre-orders for the vinyl (LP) soundtrack from Heroes of Might and Magic III, the iconic fantasy strategy game by New World Computing. The project was organized by Pawel Mihulka.
The soundtrack consists of 41 tracks contained on two vinyls records. The CDs are available in four colour variants - Necropolis Black, Rampant Green, Inferno Red, and Castle Blue.
The soundtrack costs 49 euros. It will be shipped in spring next year. Those interested in the release are advised to hurry up, as the first edition was limited to just a thousand copies.
Let us recall that the music to Heroes of Might and Magic III was composed by Paul Anthony Romero and Rob King. The latter, along with Matthias Adloff, was also responsible for remastering the tracks for the vinyl edition of the soundtrack. The cover art for this edition was designed by Magdalena Katanska.
Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia originally debuted in 1999 and to this day many fans of the franchise consider this game to be the best installment of the series. In 2015, a remaster was released, titled Heroes of Might & Magic III: HD Edition, which, however, met with a cold reception due to the lack of extras and poorly tweaked graphics.
