Hiding and Safe Spots in Demonologist

In this guide you will learn about hiding places in Demonologist. We have also described some hiding tips.

Demonologist is an early access horror game available on Steam, in which we play the role of a ghost hunter. The game emphasizes co-op mode, with up to 4 people playing in a single game. During the gameplay, various ghosts hunt the players, and one way to avoid them is to escape. In this guide, you will learn what are the hiding places in Demonologist.

Hideouts in Demonologist

When the sanity level drops, ghosts can attack the player. Then it is possible to protect oneself from danger by using a crucifix, but if you do not have one in your inventory, you are left with running away and trying to hide. Below are some hiding spots.

Abandoned House

  1. Basement, which is located behind the ritual site
  2. Bathroom

Cyclone Street

  1. Basement that can be accessed from the bedroom
  2. Closet located in the office on the upper level

Hospital

  1. Room opposite the reception desk
  2. Supply rooms
  3. Behind privacy screens, which are located at the entrance and on the second floor
  4. Bathroom on the second floor

Additional information

Once in hiding, you we cannot make any movements or use the equipment. In addition, if the ghost sees that you are hiding in a particular room, it will move after you and get you. Make sure that when you enter a room you close the door behind you.

Demonologist is currently in early access. This means that further updates will be rolled out over time with additional safe spots. The latest patch bearing the number 0.4.0 has implemented a new map called Kurosawa House, which is sure to also feature hiding spots. It is also worth noting that the aforementioned update also introduced a bit of fixes, some of which relate to safe spots.
