We learned the release date of High on Knife, the extensive DLC for the absurdly humorous shooter titled High on Life, developed by Squanch Games. The DLC will go on sale on October 3 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

The release date announcement is accompanied by a new trailer using stop-motion animation, which introduces us to the atmosphere of High on Knife.

And speaking of the atmosphere of this expansion - this time the creators bet on horror movies. The devs have prepared a terrifying location, where we will meet new characters, face unknown threats (led by "scary" bosses), as well as discover some dark surprises. The driving force of the story, in turn, will be the escape from a certain Mux, voiced by Gabourey Sidibe, known among others from American Horror Story.

The expansion will also introduce two talkative guns, which we haven't had a chance to meet yet.

  1. The first is Harper, an ex-military who is trying to come to grips with her traumatic past. She is voiced by Sarah Sherman, known from Saturday Night Live.
  2. The second is B.A.L.L., which is a flipper-inspired weapon operated by a group of small, hard-working characters.
