Holdfast: Nations at War to feature online battles set in the Napoleonic Wars period

A game has been announced that might be interesting for Mount & Blade: Warband fans. Holdfast: Nations at War is an online multiplayer game set in the Napoleonic Wars period.

Holdfast: Nations at War has been announced. This online multiplayer game set in the early 19th century Europe, during the tumultuous period of Napoleon Bonaparte and his wars, features both naval and land battles. The title is being developed by a small indie company Anvil Games Studios, founded by some of the former creators of Mount & Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars. Holdfast: Nations at War is currently fighting for players’ attention on Steam Greenlight, and is actually doing quite well, as it has managed to make it to the top 100 on Greenlight in a little over one day.

No matter if you fight on sea or on land (or both at the course of a battle), your success will depend on both teamwork and your individual skills. Holdfast: Nations at War is going to feature different classes with specific roles and gears as well as easy-to-learn-difficult-to-master precision and timing based combat system. And if you get to man artillery (or get shot by it) you will discover that ships and strongholds have physics-based destruction. Sounds good? Find out more about the game on its official website.
