If you are a fan of Disgaea series that’s on the market for 20 years already, you are in luck, as the latest installment came out recently entitled Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtuless. This time the game takes place in the land of Hinomoto where the bushido code does not exist, and in its place the Hinomoto Code of Destruction is put. Long time fans should feel in this land at home though, as the latest part of Disgaea is evolution of the classic turn-based jRPG idea with lots of status screens and tables crammed with huge numbers. What is more, there are dozens of classes available, though most of them have to be unlocked. One of them – Maiko – requires Angel Cake. How to find it? Let’s dive deeper.
How to obtain the Angel Cake in Disgaea 7
Getting an Angel Cake in Disgaea 7 is not a straightforward task and will require a lot of work since it’s a very rare item. There are several methods of obtaining it though. Why bother with this object at all? It has its unique use, as it is a part required in unlocking a Maiko class.
There are two ways of obtaining the cake:
- Buying it from a specific shop in Carnage mode,
- Counting on luck in Item World.
The first method with going for shopping in Carnage mode is the most certain mean of getting the Angel Cake. It will cost you a lot of time, as the Carnage mode is unlocked only after finishing the game once. After this is done, you would have to venture to Chapter 6, in Carnage mode of course, and complete quests there that will make the shop with unlockables available for you. You can buy almost all of the items required for unlocks there, besides a legendary spear.
If you feel lucky, you can go for the second way of acquiring the cake. It can be found in the Item World. To get to Item World, you have to get to Chapter 3 in the game first. It is also a lengthy method because you may be able to find it right away, but also sink countless hours in without luck. To improve your chances in finding the Angel Cake this way is to employ Research Squad. Use them especially while running high-level items.
No matter which approach you take though, it can take a considerable amount of time and effort to achieve your goal. You have to be armed with patience and pray to lady luck to be on your side.
