King Arthur: Knight's Tale Funded on Kickstarter

King Arthur: Knight's Tale, the dark RPG developed by NeocoreGames and inspired by the XCOM series, collected the required amount on Kickstarter less than a week before the end of campaign.

The creators of King Arthur: Knight's Tale managed to achieve the first fundraiser goal on Kickstarter. Out of the required 115,000 pounds, a little less than 129,000 pounds was collected, and there are still five days left to the end of the campaign. In order to encourage players to make further contributions the studio has prepared additional goals - if the sum of 130 thousand pounds is exceeded, the number of professions available in the game will increase from five to six, and with 150 thousand pounds the game will receive a PvP mode.

King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a tactical RPG (with a combat system inspired by the modern XCOM series), which is part of the King Arthur series launched in 2009. The main character of the game is Mordred, who together with his team of knights has to face the army of demons led to battle by corrupted King Arthur. The Hungarian studio NeocoreGames is responsible for the game, the team being known for Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series.

King Arthur: Knight's Tale will be released in 2021 on PC. There are also plans to release the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
