Minecraft Now Sports Quarantine Tips in Main Menu

Minecraft joins the fight against the coronavirus, encouraging players to behave properly. Developers from Mojang AB decided to put various tips in the game, which can be read after entering the menu.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  • Developers from Mojang AB have placed messages in Minecraft's main menu to encourage proper behaviour in times of crisis.

Just yesterday we wrote that gaming has become a very popular form of spending free time in the era of worldwide quarantine. No wonder - many people stay at home all day because of the threat. After some time, even those who are normally not interested in games may feel like grabbing a mouse or a gamepad. The situation has been exploited by developers from Mojang AB, who have placed messages in their Minecraft encourage positive attitudes on the part of the players, or simply to lift their spirits in these difficult moments.

Time to build something!

If we update the game to the latest version, we can read the following messages:

Stay safe!

Prepare, but don't hoard!

Save the world - stay inside!

Support elderly relatives and friends!

Don't touch your face!

Gamers unite - separately, in your own homes!

Shop for your elders!

Support local businesses!

There's probably even more messages that the developers have prepared for us. If you have a copy of the game, you can check it yourself.

There's no denying that this is a really nice gesture from Mojang AB. We can't help but join these appeals and wish you all good health.
