MultiVersus - How to 1v1 Friends in Multiversus

MultiVersus is a fighting game, in which you can also fight 1v1 duels with friends. Here you will learn how to do it.

MultiVersus is a fighting game from Warner Bros. that quickly gained enormous popularity. As with other games of the genre, it is a good title for playing with friends. Especially since it enables you to take part in 1v1 duels. Here you will learn how to use this option.

How to play 1v1 with a friend in MultiVersus?

The most popular game mode in MultiVersus is, of course, 2v2, which I'm sure you've already encountered. Fortunately, the game also enables you to challenge a single player, and it's relatively easy to do so. All you need to do is follow the few steps described below.

  1. Make sure that the selected friend is in a team with you. If he or she is not, open the friends panel (located on the right side of the screen in the menu), find the person you intend to play with and select "Party Invite".
  2. Click "Play" in the menu and select "Custom" from the bar at the very top of the screen.
  1. From the options displayed on the screen, select "Create Online Lobby" (you can also select "Local Play" if you intend to play on a single screen).
  2. A game creation panel should appear. There you can choose the map, the game mode (choose the 1v1 option) and, most importantly, invite your friend to play. Remember to invite him/her to the opposite team.
  1. After adjusting the gameplay options, you can start the duel. Remember, however, that only certain maps will be available in 1v1 mode. Some of them support only 2v2 gameplay.
