New Update for Outriders Launches Today; Expansion Announced

Today, Outriders will receive a big update called New Horizon. In the future we'll also receive a full-fledged expansion, titled Worldslayer.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Today Outriders will receive an update called New Horizon;
  • It will introduce four new Expeditions and many other changes and novelties;
  • In 2022 Outriders will get a full-fledged expansion.

Creators of Outriders have unexpectedly announced a major update to their game. It's called New Horizon and is the result of months of work based on community feedback. The update will be made available later today and will introduce a large dose of new content to the game. There will also be many smaller improvements.

Attention primarily attracts four new Expeditions. Thanks to them the players will be able to engage in more activities in the endgame phase. Moreover, they will have no time limit - from now on it will be an optional challange (it will not affect the received rewards). The creators decided on such a step, because the previous solution was said to have forced the players to use only the most effective tactics. Due to this they were less eager to experiment.

In addition, the players will be able to use a transmog system, which is the ability to modify the appearance of armor. New skins will be introduced to the game, and individual character classes and skills will be rebalanced. The game will also be enriched by a number of smaller or larger improvements, which overall are to have a positive impact on the player experience. More information about them can be found in the extensive video presenting the changes.

These are not the only announcements from People Can Fly. On the same occasion, Polish studio revealed that Outriders will receive a full-fledged expansion in the future. It's called Worldslayer and will debut in 2022. Unfortunately, nothing more about it was revealed. Additional information can be expected in the spring.
