Paradise Lost Records Successful Launch, Devs Suprized

Paradise Lost's launch turned out well for the creators at PolyAmorous. Sales of the adventure game on Steam turned out to be higher than expected before the debut.

Not even a week has passed since the launch of the adventure game Paradise Lost, and its devs have already reported a first success. Across four days on Steam, more than 12 thousand copies of PolyAmorous' game were purchased, which is more than anticipated (via GPW [in Polish]). The information was shared in a press release (via Strefa Inwestorow [in Polish]):

"We are very pleased with the interest in Paradise Lost, the more so that the provided number is for one platform only. From Wednesday to Sunday the game has reached over 12 thousand buyers, which confirms that we've chosen the right strategy to promote this title. The result is better than we expected, so we're on the right track to fulfill the most optimistic scenario," said Piotr Zygadlo, CEO of All in! Games, the publisher of Paradise Lost."

Although the title has relatively few reviews on Steam so far, out of over 300 users of the platform, 78% have given Paradise Lost a positive rating. So it's neither an incredible bestseller nor an outstanding gem, but the game has appealed to many buyers. The developers hope that it will be the same on other platforms. There are big hopes for the Nintendo Switch version, where the game will be released at the end of the year.
