A lovely new trailer for Paradise Lost, the adventure game from Polish studio PolyAmorous, appeared on the web. The material presents the game's story, but also contains a lot of gameplay footage.
All in! Games has released a new trailer for Paradise Lost, a promising adventure game and a debut work of PolyAmorous. The video focuses on presenting the game's plot, but it consists mainly of gameplay scenes and it needs to be admitted that the project looks impressive in terms of atmosphere and visuals.
Paradise Lost will be set in an alternative version of the 1980s. In the world created by the developers, World War II lasted two decades longer than in our reality. Eventually, a large part of Europe was destroyed after the atomic attack carried out by the Nazis. As the game's action begins, large swathes of the continent remain unexplored due to deadly radiation.
Players take on the role of 12-year-old Simon, who discovers a gigantic bunker built by the Germans. The advanced technology it harbors will mix with the world of Slavic myths. While exploring the structure, the boy will contact a mysterious girl named Eve.
In Paradise Lost we will observe the events from first-person perspective. The game will focus on narrative. The structure of the campaign is based on five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance) and the decisions we make will influence not only the characters but also the visual style, environmental elements and sound effects.
The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 4 and is coming to PC and yet unspecified consoles. The launch will take place this year.
It's worth mentioning that Paradise Lost has already received a card on Steam, so we know the system requirements for the PC version.
