Pretty fantasy RPG delights in new gameplay trailer. Here's exact release date for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a highly promising game from the French studio Sandfall Interactive, first introduced to the world last year during the Xbox Games Showcase. As announced earlier, as part of the Xbox Developer Direct show, we saw new material from this game.

The video with commentary from the developers presents fresh gameplay footage from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. However, the most important part of the material isn't the eye-catching shots, but the exact release date of the game, set for April 24, 2025. So far, the devs have only announced that the title will launch in the spring of this year.

In the trailer from Xbox Developer Direct, we see a lot of shots of protagonists clashing with dangerous opponents - Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will offer a turn-based combat system enriched with elements from action games. Therefore, parrying or attacking takes place in real time and is based on the player's reflexes.

The developers also introduced us to the friendly acquaintance, which is Monoco (below). He is a Gestral, who speaks human language and loves bloody battles. Monoco will also help us.

Presale of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

On the occasion of revealing the exact release date of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the pre-sale of the game has launched. The game will be available in two editions.

1. The standard edition costs $44.99 on Steam and Microsoft Store. On the PS Store, you can buy the game for $49.99.
2. The Deluxe Edition will additionally offer a collection of outfits and hairstyles for playable characters. On Steam and the Microsoft Store, it costs $53.99, while on the PS Store, it's $59.99.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be released on PS5 and XSX/S consoles as well as PC, and on day one, it will be added to PC/Xbox Game Pass.
