Today the game went on sale Sonic Superstars, a classic side-scrolling platformer in which we play the titular supersonic hedgehog. Its premiere trailer also saw the light of day.

Sega has developed its latest work with all leading platforms in mind; the game is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, as well as Nintendo Switch. In Poland, the game has not lived to see localization.

At the time these words are being written, the service Metacritic reports only that the average rating given to the PlayStation 5 version of this item is 76/100. Identical is the average score found on the site OpenCritic. On Steam, meanwhile, the title in question received "mixed" reviews. Players complain primarily about the fact that an account is required for online gameplay... Epic Games (for solo play, you can simply opt out of logging in). The EULA also shows that the game uses Denuvo. The game costs $59.99.

1. W Sonic Superstars the title character and his team find themselves on the Northstar Islands. The heroes must once again face the sinister Doctor Eggman, who has joined forces with the criminal Fang.
2. In terms of mechanics Sonic Superstars refers to the first installments of the series. So we are dealing with a side-scrolling platformer, in which we flash to the right at incredible speeds, collecting gold rings and eliminating enemies. In addition, in the course of the adventure we acquire so-called Chaos Emeralds, which provide us with additional powers.
3. In addition to Sonic, during the course of the game we can play Tails, Knuckles and Amy Rose, among others.
4. Against the backdrop of its age-old predecessors from the era of Sonic Superstars stands out due to its graphic design, which was made in 2.5D technique. The whole thing was kept in a colorful, cartoonish style.
