Today marks the release of Stronghold: Definitive Edition, a refreshed version of the iconic 2001 real-time strategy game. The original was so successful that it gave rise to a series that is still being developed today. The creators of the original, FireFly Studios, are behind the development of the new edition.
Stronghold: Definitive Edition is heading for personal computers. At the time these words are being written, there are about 5 hours left before the game is unlocked. Its price remains unknown. The game will be available on Steam.
The described item does not introduce revolutionary changes to the mechanics known from the original. We are still dealing with an RTS combining elements of a city builder and war strategy.
