Some of the alternate paths and Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero can be quite challenging to unlock. Whether it's a time limit or other specific condition, battle details aren’t always that helpful. One particularly tricky stage is Super Vegeta, alternate ending can be confusing due to of its two separate fights. But don’t worry, with our Sparking Zero Guide, you’ll have everything you need to succeed.
In order to get the alternate ending in Super Vegeta, you need to:
Only after completing these steps will the Super Vegeta fight split into two battles. The first battle is with Imperfect Cell. Once Trunks enters the fight, you need to lower his health enough for the next cutscene to trigger. After that, the fight with Perfect Cell begins, and the alternate objectives will be displayed in the Battle Details under the pause menu that says:
The given time, which is obviously for this game not given, varies according to player reports. However, one thing is certain: if Vegeta mentions using his Final Flash, it’s already too late to unlock the alternate ending. At this point, you’ll need to reset the mission and try to defeat Perfect Cell faster.
Learn Perfect Cell’s attack patterns, dodge his hits or use super counter and repeatedly unleash Vegeta’s two special moves. Eventually, you will defeat him quickly enough to get the Total Victory ending. Good luck!
If you’re still struggling with this fight, try collecting enough Dragon Balls to summon Shenron, Super Shenron, or Porunga, and wish for the Dragon Orb. This item lowers the difficulty of alternate objectives in Episode battles.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
