Good news everyone! The next Get Together banner in Sword of Convallaria will be available from September 20th to October 3rd. Alongside Inanna, who we all know and love, there will be a new addition — Xavier, a member of the King’s Army. While Xavier may not have been highly ranked in our tier list, with the right build and a good understanding of his strengths and weaknesses, he can become a valuable asset to your team.

Best Skills for Xavier in Sword of Convallaria

Xavier’s trait increases his attack power when enemies are nearby, stacking up to a significant percentage based on the number of foes and their distance from each other. To maximize this potential, consider selecting the following skills:

1. RK1 – Combat Frenzy: This passive grants him 20% Life Steal after dealing damage. It’s a powerful way to sustain himself in battle.
2. RK3 – Chaotic Battle: This effective AoE ability deals damage to all enemies within 2 tiles of Xavier, additionally generating 40% Life Steal and inflicting a Healing debuff on them for 2 turns.
3. RK5 – Indomitable Spirit: A great reaction choice, this skill decreases incoming damage by up to 40% for each enemy within 2 tiles.
4. RK7 – Spear of Iria: This passive skill allows Xavier to recover all his energy points and gain a speed buff at the start of each round. It has a 5-turn cooldown, making it useful only during longer battles.
5. RK9 – Charged Attack: A basic attack that deals substantial damage and increases the damage of the next skill, making it an excellent complement to his trait.
6. RK11 – Musou: This stands out as his most powerful skill. This AoE attack can inflict damage on all enemies within a 3x1 area and knock them back by 2 tiles. But wait, there’s more. Xavier will gain Parry (allowing him to turn and face the attacker while taking a hit, gaining extra physical defense) and Preempt (enabling him to strike before an enemy can attack) for 2 turns.

For Tarot Whispers, the following epic or legendary cards are highly recommended:

1. Dream of the Magician - Boosts damage output and amplifies damage dealt to a single enemy with each additional hit, up to a maximum of 12%.
2. Rays of the Sun - Ignores 20% of the target's defense if they are injured.
3. Silence of the Hermit - Reduces incoming damage by 10%. This is a valuable option for any frontline character.
