Syberia 3 to launch in April 2017; watch a new trailer

After having been delayed from December 2016, Syberia 3 has now been slated to launch in April, this year. Watch its first actual trailer and see how exciting an adventure game can be.

A new release date for Syberia 3 has been announced by Microids – the third installment in the classic adventure game series designed by Benoît Sokal will launch on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on April 25 in North America and on April 20 in Europe. Along with this announcement comes a new trailer, which is almost as exciting as that of a next Call of Duty.

Apart from the aforementioned platforms, Syberia 3 is also to hit Nintendo Switch console, but there is no release date for this version yet. As for the PC release, the title is up for pre-orders on Steam, where you can pre-purchase it for $39.99 (Standard Edition) or $49.99 (Deluxe Edition).

Some of the game’s features, so proudly bragged about by its developers in the official press release, are: a brand new tale, very different from what the fans know from the two previous games (making easy to grasp for newcomers), immersive narrative, and the unique art direction characteristic of Benoît Sokal (this time in full 3D), original, real-time 3D puzzles, and soundtrack composed by Inon Zur, the author of scores to Syberia II, Fallout games, Dragon Age, and Prince of Persia, just to mention a few.
