Crystle

Crystle is a creature with impressive defense, as well as strong attack and HP stats. However, it is slow, which is undoubtedly a weakness. As a Crystal type, it is immune to electrical, psychic and toxic attacks, but vulnerable to ground and fire attacks.

Crystle starts out with the Amphibian trait, so it gets a speed and attack bonus after using a water technique. From a competitive standpoint, Crystle has the best SV (Single Value) of all starting Temtem. Its SV of defense is as high as 38.

Smazee

Smazee

Smazee is a Melee-type Temtem with strong speed and attack. As a Melee type, Smazee is vulnerable to Mental and Digital attacks, but has high resistance to physical techniques. Smazee starts with the Fever Rush trait, which gives it an attack bonus whenever it is affected by a status condition. This also applies to positive conditions, so keep an eye out for possible combos.

Smazee has the lowest Single Value (SV) stat, which means that its stat growth rate is relatively low. This means that it is a slightly worse choice from a competitive perspective.

Houchic

Houchic

Houchic is a Mental-type Temtem and boasts very high speed and good defense. However, as you would expect from a Mental type, Houchic's HP is relatively low. As a Mental type, Houchic is immune to Melee and Neutral attacks, but vulnerable to Electric, Digital and Crystal techniques.

Houchic starts with the Soft Touch trait. It not only increases damage against sleeping opponents by 20%, but also makes its attacks not wake up targets. In terms of PvP, this creature's SV is not particularly impressive. Like Smazee, Houchic is a slightly worse choice from a competitive standpoint.
