The Witcher 3 is 5 Years Old; The Devs Prepared Special Video

CD Projekt RED celebrates the 5th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. For this occasion, composer Marcin Przybylowicz prepared a special video for fans.

5 years ago, to the day, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt made its launch, and remains undoubtedly the most popular game developed by a Polish company. The developers have not forgotten about the anniversary of their greatest hit. CD Projekt RED celebrated the fifth anniversary with a video prepared by Marcin Przybylowicz. The music director of the third installment of The Witcher together with his friends prepared an arrangement of the game's main theme. Of course, everyone was working remotely. You can see (and listen to) the effect below.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launched five years ago on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (and last year on Switch). The title quickly became one of the most important games of the eighth generation of consoles and sold superbly. The game also received a number of industry awards. It was the success of Wild Hunt that contributed to the popularization of The Witcher franchise around the world, which resulted in the creation of the Netflix series (which, by the way, encouraged many people to test the three games as well). The popularity of The Witcher 3 is also reflected in the expectations towards Cyberpunk 2077, which, to be honest, has a chance to beat CD Projekt RED's hit. Wheter that will be the case, we'll find out on September 17, when the game will launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
