In just a few hours, gamers will be able to check out Kaiserpunk, a strategy in the style of Anno and Europa Universalis. The interesting hybrid may interest fans of the genre.
Today, Kaiserpunk will be released, a strategy game that combines elements of games in the style of Anno and Europa Universalis. The publisher of this game is Elda Entertainment, a company founded by veterans of Paradox Interactive.
Kaiserpunk is a hybrid of city builder and grand strategy, set in an alternative world where World War I never ended, and Europe has been divided into small city-states. The player, as the manager of one of them, must develop their metropolis, gradually expanding its borders.
The gameplay is based on two pillars - the classic city building known from Anno and the expansion reminiscent of the Europa Universalis series.
The devs from Overseer Games studio have been building up the atmosphere for the launch for several days, detailing some of the game elements in blogs on Steam. In this way, various aspects such as the panel of residents and development, armies and supplies, as well as diplomacy and trade, were broadly presented.
