Weird West is debuting on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 today. The game will also be coming to the Game Pass service.
Today, after a considerable delay, we see the release of Weird West - the debut game from WolfEye Studios, the new team led by co-founder of Arkane Studios. The title will be available at 6 am PT on all supported platforms (PC, PS4, XONE). Yes, there is a countdown to 8:00 am on Steam, but the devs have confirmed on Discord that this is a mistake.
Weird West will go straight to the Game Pass service offer - both on PC and Xbox One. We will also play the title on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S thanks to the backward compatibility.
It looks like the first reviews of Weird West will appear only after the game's release.
The developers have mentioned a bit about the post-release plans of the game. Unfortunately, for now they do not include a release on Nintendo Switch. WolfEye Studio is interested in porting the game to this console, but for now it has nothing else to share on this matter.
What we do know is that Weird West will receive a handful of free updates. These will include, among other things, a higher difficulty level and new scenarios, quests and gameplay mechanics.
