The sights contained in this production are sure to encourage more than one person to travel to the European country and see this beauty with their own eyes and experience the Italian climate presented to them in this film.
And just for such viewers who would like to find film locations from La Dolce Villa, we have gathered information on where this Netflix film was shot.
Movie locations from La Dolce Villa

The La Dolce Villa team spent four weeks in Italy, during which they visited several locations. They visited Rome, eastern Lazio and Tuscany.
Three small towns in Tuscany – San Quirico d'Orcia and Pienza, where the team entertained for two weeks, and the streets of the historic center of Montepulciano – were used as the fictional town of Montazara. They decided on these towns because they perfectly captured the atmosphere of a small town with a central square, restaurants, and what could be a mayor. So, if you were captivated by the landscapes from La Dolce Villa, then you absolutely must go to Tuscany, because it is the beauty of this region that was captured in the film.
They shot in Rome at a working train station – Stazione Trastevere. In the film you will see it at the beginning, when Eric came to Italy to see his daughter. Although sound stages are usually used for such sequences, the makers of La Dolce Villa opted for a real location.
Is it possible to visit the house from La Dolce Villa?

If you're curious about where you'll see the house around which the film's action revolves, the building that served as the exterior of the villa is 45 minutes away from Rome. The location used is Torrino del Gelsi, an agritourism resort where weddings are held. If you don't happen to have one there, you will be able to see the building without any problems.
And when it comes to the interior of the film villa, this is where problems start, as the sets built at Rome's Cinecittá Studios were used for this. Interestingly, La Dolce Vita was filmed there in 1960. This, however, means that if you wanted to see the interior of the villa from La Dolce Villa, it will be impossible. The entire movie building does not actually exist.
