The amulets and upgrades available in PoP The Lost Crown offer a variety of options for modifying the hero and his skills. On this page we will introduce you to several builds that will fit into a variety of gameplay styles.

The latest installment of the Prince of Persia series gives players access to various means that allow customizing the hero to support a specific playstyle. Amulets gathered and equipped, upgraded versions of them, and equipment upgrades allow creating a Sargon that excels at the chosen aspect of the game. On this page of our guide, we show a few starting combinations of upgrades and equipment that may inspire you to experiment on your own to find a perfect setup that will balance any shortcomings of your chosen playstyle.
Defensive build
In the first build, we focus on bonuses that will help the protagonist gain some survivability to prevail even when faced with multiple opponents. When it comes to amulets, there are two powerful artifacts obtained in the early stages of the game that will be invaluable for this build:
- Dragon King;
- Blessing.
The first choice protects the hero from a killing blow - instead of dying, you'll be resurrected and have a small portion of your health replenished. The second provides additional health cells. This setup will seriously increase your chances of surviving even if the battle doesn't go your way. Apart from the mentioned, you should consider checking out amulets such as:
- Mount Demawend - reduces the strength of enemy attacks;
- Rukhsana's Gift - replenishes a small portion of your health with each successful block.
- Horned Viper and Hardines - reduces damage received from poison and environmental factors - useful during exploration.
Although the bonuses provided by amulets may not be very impressive at first, as you progress through the game, receiving new upgrades and amulet slots, Sargon will slowly become a hardened warrior who can pull through even after receiving series of blows.

When it comes to equipment upgrades, you should definitely focus on unlocking Mage upgrades. Additional health potions and increased potency of them will help you keep your hero alive.
Offensive build
If you prefer a more aggressive playstyle, a good idea would be to focus on unlocking Sargon's offensive abilities. When it comes to amulets, you should primarily check out:
- Will of Rostam - increases the power of standard attacks;
- Blade Dancer - the basic combo is lengthened with additional attacks;
- Four Royal Stars - increases the power of basic airborne attacks.
If you are good at avoiding enemy attacks and are sure about your skill, you can consider equipping amulets such as:
- Elusive Water - successful dodges now deal damage;
- Arslan's Glory - increases the power of melee attacks, but only when you are at full health.
