Ring of Elysium: How to trigger an avalanche?

One of the tactics available in Ring of Elysium is to trigger an avalanche. However, you can do that only in specific places.

This is how watching an avalanche ends.

Remember to have a snowboard if you plan on causing an avalanche. This is the only item that will allow you to escape from the snow.

The picture above has places where you can cause an avalanche. Remember that it will eliminate only enemies that are in its range. An avalanche lasts for about 15 seconds.

To cause an avalanche, look for cabins with broken windows. These cabins should be full of snow.

The next step is to make noise - shoot, throw grenades or hit the cabin's walls by driving a vehicle. This is the only moment where you can let loose.

Start running away as soon as you hear the sound of an avalanche (snow will start moving downwards). Your character can die during an avalanche.
