The Sims 4: Fishing - tips

A fishing trip can be a great opportunity to take a break from household chores. This page of The Sims 4 guide will teach you how to develop the Fishing skill, as well as what you can do with caught fish.

You will learn this skill by practicing fishing although you can also use some books. Go to a water reservoir in a park and look for a sign with a fish image on it. Click on it and choose the "Go fishing" option to start fishing and to learn this ability. The more hours you will spend fishing the more levels you will receive and bigger fish you will catch. The 3rd level allows you to use a fish baits which you can find in many places: you can use plants, fruits, other fish and so on. Click on a sign and select the "Bait Fishing" option and choose something from your Sim's equipment.

The 5th level allows your Sim to find out what kind of baits will be most effective in a specific area. Click on a sing and choose the "Check the water" option. The more levels you have the more valuable and rare fish you can catch. You can frame them and hang on your wall or sell them.
