The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings: The Endrega Contract

Step 1: Learn more about the Endregas

The mission is very easy, but rather time-consuming. It's a good idea to take the contract from the board and continue completing other quests - the first part of this mission will pretty much complete itself. In order to learn more on the Endregas' life, you just have to kill them. You can start doing it at the woods, where you will find lots of monsters - they come down from trees, so try to keep an eye on the upper parts of the screen.

Step 2: Destroy the Endregan cocoons and kill the queens

Once you slay enough monsters, a proper information will be displayed and the second part of the quest will be activated. Based on your observation, you will be able to tell that Endregas hatch from cocoons (M8, 5). Destroying all of them could provoke the Queens to appear, and killing them would solve the problem with the monsters. The location of all the cocoons can be found on the map - they always come in groups of three, so you shouldn't have any problems with finding the others once seeing one of them. Open the cocoon and destroy it. After you destroy three, the first Endrega Queen.

Fighting the Queen is insanely hard, especially on higher difficulty settings. It's worth to drink a poison-neutralising potion before the fight. You can also set traps, through they won't be as useful. Definitely a better way is to use bombs, both those which deal damage and those which are to stun the enemy. Try to use Yrden often to stun the monster and Quen to neutralize the damage. Don't try to rush with attacks as it's better to dodge often, but also don't forget about blocking.

Step 3: Collect your reward from Louis Marse

After killing both Queens, go to Louis Marse (M7, 15) from whom you can collect your prize. His apartment is to the left of one of the main gates.
