Uncharted 3: Chapter 2 - Greatness from Small Beginnings walkthrough

This page of the guide contains the walkthrough of chapter 2 of Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception. The chapter is titled Greatness from Small Beginnings and is a flashback during which the player controls a young Nathan. This stage does not contain any fights. Instead, you will learn the basics of climbing, using objects from the environment, as well as learn the basics of the sneaking system.

The flashback will begin. You will take control over a teenage Drake.

In the Museum, you will be given access to the notebook [1]. On the first page we will find a circled item that we should look for when examining the exhibits in the showcases. Young Drake will let us know if we find the correct item.

Since the search of the first floor of the Museum has not yielded results, we go up the stairs [1] to the upper floor. In the next exhibition hall, we will find a showcase with a ring [2], located in the center of the room.

After the cut-scene, we will be thrown out of the museum and have to follow Sully [1], who was also interested in the ring we were looking for.

From the Museum, we move forward and turn into the first street to the right [1]. At the fruit stand [2], you will be guided through the tutorial on sneaking behind curtains.

When the seller rebukes us for biting the fruit, we will reach a fork - here you need to turn right [1] and follow your target, going through the slaughterhouse [2].

Sullivan will enter a building inaccessible to us. Because we cannot follow him directly, we need to go left and climb the gutter on the wall on the left side [1].

After reaching the top of the gutter, head right under the balcony [1] to get near the windows through which you can see what Sullivan is up to. Going further to the right [2] we will have the opportunity to take a better look at what is happening inside.

When Sullivan leaves the building, follow him by moving along the walls of the buildings and onto the balcony [1].

We leave the balcony by getting on the sign with the "24 HORAS" inscription and from here we jump to the neighboring building [1]. Pull up, stick to the wall and reach the corner [2]. From here we need to jump to the ledge in front of us, get on the roof of the building and go to its other side.

After we see Sullivan's meeting with the woman in black, we go down from the roof of the building and carefully descend the vertical sign of the hotel [1]. We go up the stairs and through the stalls [2], reaching the place where the couple we are tracking stopped.

Now a cut-scene will initiate, during which we will acquire a key to a cabinet with a ring [1].
