Spider-Man 2 From Insomniac Games in the Pipeline? Instagram Post Raised Hopes
There's a chance that Insomniac Games started working on a new Spider-Man game. Or at least that's what gamers think after the actor who playes Miles Morales posted (and quickly deleted) a photo from a mysterious motion capture session.
Let's face it - while Miles Morales' adventures have been warmly received, it's hard to see it as a big full-fledged sequel to the 2018 hit. Fortunately, this one may already be in production. At least, that's the conclusion gamers came to after seeing an Instagram post by Nadjie Jeter. The actor, who lent his voice and silhouette to Miles Morales, posted a photo of him preparing for a motion capture session. The photo quickly disappeared from the website, but - as usual - not from the internet, as fans managed to make some screenshots.
It should be noted that Jeter's entry does not mention a word about Spider-Man, so it might as well be any other project. On another note, the actor's last (and only) role in video games beyond Miles Morales (including Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order) was... Sam from 2013's The Last of Us. For fans, as fans are, this is proof enough and undeniable fact that this is definitely about a new Spider-Man adventure in a - this time full-fledged - continuation of the superhero saga by Insomniac Games.
Sarcasm aside, it's very likely that Insomniac Games has already begun work on the next Spider-Man. The studio has released the new adventure of Ratchet and Clank, warmly received by players and apparently selling like hot cakes. This means the developer can peacefully take on the next project, for example, the continuation of the story of Miles Morales. After all, both the original Spider-Man and its sequel were huge hits and are among the Sony's best-selling exclusives. However, for now, we recommend to withhold enthusiasm and wait for more reliable information. Let's also recall that Insomniac Games is working on an unannounced multiplayer title.
