Plague Tale Requiem: Is Chapter Select available?

While going through Plague Tale: Requiem, you may want to replay a certain part of the game, for example, to reach a missed collectible or a place to unlock an achievement. Our guide explains if the game has a Chapter Selection option.

Chapter selection option in the main menu

Plague Tale allows you to replay already completed chapters and sequences. To do this, you must return to the main menu and click on Chapter Selection.

Playing the same stages again overwrites your previous progress, e.g. the number of gadgets you have or skills you have developed. However, the replaying an older chapter will not make subsequent stages you have completed disappear from the main menu.

Restarting the entire chapter or selected part

When choosing a chapter, you can learn which secrets you have found - Hugo's Herbarium and Souvenirs.

There is also an option to repeat specific stages instead of going through the entire chapter. This is very helpful, as the stages in the game are quite long. In the example in the image above, we have chosen to start with sequence number 3 of Chapter VII. Use this option if you need to return to a specific location, for example, to get a trophy or collectible.
