Call of Duty Cold War: Ashes to Ashes - walkthrough

This chapter of the Call of Duty Cold War guide is dedicated to the Ashes to Ashes mission. Ashes to Ashes is the last mission, which sums up the whole campaign.

Depending on whether you contacted Perseus at the base earlier or not, the mission can unfold in two different ways - with or without an ambush. The ambush version is a little longer and will require you to fight with existing allies.

Ambush scenario

The ambush scenario will activate if you contact Perseus earlier in the base via radio. When you talk to Adler at the mission location, give the signal for an ambush. The scene ends with a missile being fired. You will be helped by an allied soldier who will give you a weapon. At this point, you will have to eliminate your previous allies. The mission is quite simple and short - move from cover to cover, along the street. You have to kill Mason, Woods and the man you saved in the previous missions. In the end, you will face Adler. Enter the two-story building and follow the blood trail, then enter the room.

You'll find Adler inside the building in a pool of blood

After a short conversation with Adler, he'll ask about the lighter that's lying next to him. Give it to him and at that moment, Adler will attack you with a knife. Mash the button that appears on the screen and after a short while, the fight will end. Go out the door. You'll meet a soldier that you already know: Perseus. Detonate the nuclear warheads.

No ambush scenario

The no ambush scenario is pretty short. You will have the opportunity to explain your actions to Adler. He will kill you afterwards. Since you misled Adler, all warheads in Europe will be activated.
