Dark Souls 3: Profaned Capital - Path to Yhorm the Giant

Use the ladder by the bonfire.

Once you explore the previous part of the capital connected to Irithyll Dungeon, it is time to move forward and deal with the boss. Starting from the bonfire, use the ladder to get to the bottom. Don't get to close to the edge or you will be hit by a fireball.

You can dodge the Gargoyle and run to the other side.

Head towards the bridge, but beware of a Gargoyle that will stand in your way. Since fighting the creature on the bridge is not the best idea (it's extremely easy to fall down or get hit by a projectile), use the beast's first attack (flying into the air) to your advantage and run to the other side. If you want to slay the creature, head back to the ladder to avoid deadly projectiles. There are 8x Onislayer Greatarrows on the bridge and Large Soul of a Weary Warrior on the other side.

Avoid your opponents or kill them, so they won't disturb you during your combat with the stone Gargoyle.

When you enter the building, you will come across a group of enemies on your left. You may kill them but it is not obligatory. When you move to the right, watch out for a Gargoyle that will swoop upon you. If you left the mages alive, don't get too close to them, or they will join the battle (not a good idea since they shoot fireballs). Kill the creature and you will reach crossroads - if you turn left you will reach the boss but you can explore the building in front of you, and exit via the construction on your right.

When you get inside (building in front of you), locate the gargoyle, and only then approach the group of opponents (the creature is higher, on the right). You should lure the creature out: use a bow.

Now you can deal with the rest of the enemies situated near the chests. First, use Throwing Knives or similar objects to separate them one from another (see screenshot). You don't want to fight them all at once. Be especially cautious about the flame that comes out of their lamps; if you remain too close, you will rapidly lose your HP.

When the area is clear, approach the chests on the right (located in the corner), and you will find Ember. The other two located in the middle are really shapeshifters. Don't fight them both at once. For defeating both enemies you will be rewarded with 2x Rusted Gold Coins and Greatshield of Glory.

By killing mages on the outside, you will eliminate the projectile.

Before you head to the arena, go outside. There are three more opponents next to the bonfire in a stone orb. Kill them and move lower to face one more monster. Get to the end and collect Rusted Coin. The other one can be located by the body, right above the abyss.

When the magic missile is no longer active, get back to the bridge, from which you came. Locate the place presented in the screenshot and jump down. Do it, and collect Onislayer Greatbow.

You have just explored all the essential parts of Profaned Capital. It's time to head to the arena and face Yhorm the Giant. If he is the third slayed Lord of Cinder, you will be teleported to The High Wall of Lothric, where you will come across dying Emma. If not, go back to Anor Londo and kill Aldrich.

Remember: if you followed Siegward's quest and you set him free from his prison, he will help you win the battle. You don't have to call him by yourself: an appropriate cut scene will be displayed, and as soon as you enter the arena Siegward will appear. He can die during this fight, and if that happens, his remains will have his armor, shield and Storm Ruler.
