$100m to be Won in Fortnite in 2019
Epic Games announced that the total prize pool available in Fortnite in 2019 equals $100 million. This includes both the rewards in Fortnite World Cup and other events across the year.
One has to admit that Epic Games is able to approach virtual competition in Fortnite with real momentum. The creators have published some information according to which the total prize pool for the Fortnite World Cup and all events in 2019 will amount to 100 million dollars. However, getting into the final tournament and winning the main prize will definitely not be an easy task.
To qualify for the top 100 solo players or 50 top pairs from around the world, you will need to take part in one of the ten-week-long elimination tournaments that will take place from April 13 to June 16. Each tournament will have one million dollars waiting to be shared among the players. After going through the elimination stage, players will take part in the final tournament in New York. This will take place on June 26-28. The prize pool for the event will be 30 million dollars. 3 million dollars will be awarded to the solo champion.
The creators also announce a lot of activity both during the Fortnite World Cup finals and throughout the year. This also applies to players who do not play battle royal mode on a daily basis. All this to maintain the interest in the title:
