Today launches the open beta of Tom Clancy's The Division 2, the continuation of the popular online shooter from 2016. Preload is available from yesterday and the tests will start at 1 AM PST and last until March 1, 1 AM. Owners of PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 can take part.

The creators have prepared several rewards for test participants. Anyone who plays the open beta will receive a weapon skin (DC Patriot Weapon Skin) and a special Trophy (Capitol Hill Backpack Trophy). Completion of the introductory mission to the Dark Zone will be rewarded with another Trophy (Supply Crate Backpack Trophy), while passing the Invaded challenge within the endgame will provide a badg our character with an arm patch (Capitol Hill Arm Patch).

The open beta is designed to test most of the elements that will be in the final version of the game. The players will be given the opportunity to complete three main story missions and five side tasks. They can also take a trip to one of the Dark Zones and try their hand at battling other people in PvP Skirmish mode.

During the tests, you can progress your character to level 8. There is also the option to check out the endgame, thanks to one mission, in which we leave our character and choose between three predefined level 30 characters.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The release is scheduled for March 15. The PC version will be unavailable on Steam. We can buy it only through Uplay and the Epic Games Store. Interestingly, despite this decision, the number of pre-orders for the PC version is higher than in the case of the first installment. Finally, it is worth mentioning that yesterday the developers revealed the game's roadmap for the next twelve months.
