It's quite ironic that Gwent has never got a witcher-themed expansion. This will change on December 8, as Gwent will be expanded with a free DLC. You can already pre-order sets with thematic gadgets!
What's new in Gwent: Way of The Witcher?
The expansion will add about 70 new cards to Gwent. Among them, we'll have 10 neutral cards, and the rest will be assigned to each faction, so 10 new cards for each faction. All of them will be related to the witcher schools, and there will be six such schools in Gwent. Each school has different characteristics, and in addition there will be a new keyword: adrenaline. Adrenaline activates when a certain number of cards are on the battlefield, and it will significantly affect the game.
