OUR EXPECTATIONS

I've always wanted to play the Halo series. The reason I haven't done it so far is prosaic – me and game pads just don't get along well in shooters. We have a very different opinion about where the bullets should go. That's why the announcement of the PC version of Master Chief Collection was like manna to me. Manna, which – as manna does – came completely unexpectedly while I was hoping for mouse and keyboard support coming for Xbox One, announced a year ago. So it worked out beautifully, and I'm rubbing my hands... I just haven't asked myself one important question yet: aren't the first parts of Halo already too archaic for today's FPS standards?
