In a way, this game is life
Dwarf Fortress is basically a fantasy world simulation that has been in development for... the past 20 years. I mean – it was constantly developed, because playable versions have been available mostly throughout this time, with the game undergoing a lot of changes in the meantime. Especially in terms of visuals, which is really apparent at first glance. This game is easiest described as Rimworld, but focused on a dwarven settlement.
Hugely complex game for hardcore players
Dwarf Fortress combines strategy, RPG, roguelike and simulator. In a randomly generated world, we take control of a group of dwarves or a single character, and our task is simple – survive. On the one hand, we take care of the needs of the charges, on the other, we expand and manage the village so that it functions well. It's also worth taking care of automation and appropriate protection against dangers.
