What is Blackwind?
Sometimes you just want to sit at the controls of a huge mech and shoot straight ahead, eliminating hordes of enemies threatening humanity. That's exactly what Blackwind offers, focusing on providing the pleasure of controlling a large combat machine without simulation aspects – what counts is using special capabilities of said machine, as well as solving simple environmental puzzles and occasionally jumping on platforms.
Is Blackwind worth it?
Blackwind even has a story! Humanity needs resources, and these are found on the planet Medusa-42. However, its inhabitants are not happy with our mining activities, effectively curbing it. There will also be a personal plot of the main character, the pilot of the prototype mech, the title Blackwind. I would not be surprised with an animé with a similar story: after all, it is the perfect scenario for this type of a series, with a protagonist with colored hair and a lush hairstyle, and some tentacles in the background.
