Top 10 Best Racing Games in 2023

Racing games have had a decent time lately. After recent release of Forza Motorsport, and before Rev to Vertex, we're updating a list of 10 fine racers you can play right now.

Table of Contents

MotoGP 21

  1. Year of release: 2021
  2. Developer: Milestone
  3. Platforms: Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch
  4. Game characteristics: motorcycles, racers and the official license of the motorcycle world championship

Motorcycles are also frequently overlooked in various rankings and compilations, despite being a part of the racing game genre alongside sports cars and vehicles of all classes. MotoGP 21 is, naturally, not the most recent release in the series, where we can test our skills in the official world championships in the MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, MotoE, and Red Bull MotoGP classes, but it's better reviewed than subsequent editions. We have the whole 2021 competition calendar to choose from, iconic motorcycle brands, and the actual names of drivers as our rivals - essentially, something akin to F1 on two wheels.

After ten previous installments, the developers have been able to address numerous issues and develop a thoroughly refined game, with a strong focus on realism. The absence of the usual automatic respawn after a fall and the requirement to manually approach the motorcycle and lift it up while controlling the player "on foot" is an incredible feature! Just like in F1 2021, you can also manage your own team. It's worth checking out, if only for that run around the track to your machine!

Three biggest pros:

  1. official license of the motorcycle world championships;
  2. realistic motorcycle riding model;
  3. unusual nuances.
  1. Moto GP 21 in our encyclopedia
