Another remake needed?
In 2006, Frogwares studio released Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, which brought them to prominence. After 17 years, the same team decided to refresh their hit, creating its remake (not just a remaster). This is an important distinction, because the new version of the old game is significantly different from the original. The creators introduced many changes to the story, making the production a direct continuation of the 2021 Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One.
Or just a rehash?
The game is about collecting clues in order to solve the case of a mysterious cult. We will thus comb locations, question characters, and then connect the dots to get a picture of the situation. Sherlock can use various tricks to make the game easier, but the hero's deteriorating mental health will turn out to be a bit of an obstacle. Therefore, you will have to use his skills wisely.
