Minecraft Legends is a strategy-action game. It was co-developed by Mojang Studios, the owners of the franchise, and Blackbird Interactive, also known for Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak.
Plot
Minecraft Legends is set in the Minecraft universe. A deadly Piglin threat looms over the Overworld. Our task is to defend this beautiful land from Nether invaders.
Mechanics
Minecraft Legends makes use of the third-person perspective (TPP). The player traverses the vast and diverse Overworld, gathers resources, builds fortifications and, above all - makes friends and allies, fielding powerful armies and participating in dynamic battles.
Game modes
Minecraft Legends mostly revolves around its extensive story campaign. It also supports co-op and competitive multiplayer.
Technical aspects
The visuals of Minecraft Legends make use of the same artstyle as the rest of the series. The entire world is composed of simple, cubic blocks.
