We Cried As We Played. The Biggest Craps of 2022

There's so much hype surrounding releasing games that it can sometimes be easy to forget that some games are... simply bad. Mildly put. Here, we list the worst and most disappointing games of 2022.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong, Nacon / Bigben Interactive, 2022

The Vampire: The Masquerade series managed to gather a cult following, and there will surely be an influx of new fans with the arrival of the awaited Bloodlines 2. It seemed we received something with which we can pass the time. The developers from Big Bad Wolf thought that even a half-assed release will be greatly received as they made a game in the Masquarade universe.

Nevertheless, Swansong is not a total failure - the plot falls to one's liking and the same with the heroes and detective plotlines. However, this doesn't change the fact that the gameplay and solutions are unpolished (there are bugs in the quests that may make completing them impossible), the black-white choices cause cringe, there are unprofessional voice actors, and the lack of the ability to skip dialogue (e.g. in case you are repeating a conversation because of a bug). Swansong also is a step backward in the case of graphics (character faces are the most evident here). Not a total failure, but the fans felt like they were cheated.
