This page of the guide to Farming Simulator 22 features information regarding obtaining water and feeding animals with it: how to fill the water tank, where to set up, which animals need water.
Most animals, in addition to food, also require water. This does not apply to bees and hens. It's not a task everyone would want to do, so you have a possibility of purchasing outbuildings connected to the waterline, which means there's no need to replenish their water supply. It's only required if you're using the cheapest pastures - but applies to all other types of animals.
To transport water you use a special tanker found in the Animals shop tab - note that not every tanker has the same use, some are used to transport water, others for fuel, others yet for slurry or milk. You can fill your tanker by using any body of water, but its rear must be submerged for the refueling button to appear. Therefore, streams and shallow rivers won't suffice for filling the tanker.
To replenish the water at the pasture, drive towards the place marked with a water droplet (the tanker, not the tractor, must be the one staying on the marker). You'll learn about the possibility of filling the tanks when standing in the right place and having the tanker selected, not other connected accessories. You can monitor your animals' water levels from the menu (in the Animals tab) or by approaching the pasture.
You can also build wells near the pastures. It doesn't automatically replenish the animals' water levels, but it serves as a point at which you can fill your tanker. You'll need to pay for it, of course. The cost isn't too high - a few hundred euros per tanker - but it could add up quickly if you have a lot of animals on different pastures.
