In the game, the player gets to assume the role of a modern farm manager and is tasked with planting over twenty types of crops, taking care of the plants, and harvesting what he sows. The game was developed by Acquire, a Japanese studio known from Way of the Samurai, Tenchu, and Shinobido. In Aegis of Earth: Protonovus Assault, the player takes control of his own city, and fights against continuous waves of huge monsters. The cities are composed of a few districts that can be rotated 360 degrees.
