Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. As the title suggests, Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising concentrates on the faction of the Chaos space marines. The game takes place on the ice-covered planet Aurelia. Thousand years ago the planet was “eaten” by the Warp storm and now it returned bearing the legions of Chaos.
Wargame: European Escalation

Advanced real-time strategy (RTS), the first installment of the Wargame series. The game was produced by Eugen Systems studio, which also has such titles as R.U.S.E. and Act of War. Wargame: European Escalation presents a hypothetical armed conflict between NATO and Warsaw Pact countries at the height of the Cold War. The gameplay mechanics is largely based on solutions known from previous productions by Eugen Systems studio.

The action of the game was set on the planet Scayra, whose inhabitants were infected with a mysterious virus turning people into bloodthirsty beasts. The player commands a commando unit sent on a mission to save the remains of the surviving colonists.

Crusader Kings

Crusader Kings can be considered a prologue of the previous standalone installment of the franchise, taking place earlier and allowing us to lead the European nations in the years 1066-1419. Like its predecessor, Crusader Kings is a faithful simulation of the period, taking into account diplomatic, social, military, religious and feudal relations.
