Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. The production brings significant changes compared to the previous parts - the most striking is the improved graphics. During the game we take part in fictional missions referring to real events. The solo campaign consists of 18 missions, consisting mainly of taking control points.

The game takes place in the distant future, in a galaxy inhabited by 8 rivaling civilizations. The player assumes the role of one of them and is tasked with leading his faction to domination over the others. The gameplay focuses on exploration of a randomly generated galaxy, developing economy, technology and diplomacy.

The Russian studio Ino-Co, which has created such titles as Fantasy Wars, Elven Legacy or the second installment of the aforementioned Majesty, is responsible for creating the game. The plot of Warlock continues the storyline initiated there and tells of the events that took place after the unification of the land and the mysterious disappearance of the king.
