Like most games based on this popular anime, the production was divided into several main modes.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is a 2D platformer available for PCs. While playing, the player crosses vast levels, solves puzzles, overcomes obstacles and fights enemies. The collection of various equipment and armaments also plays an important role, and many of the items held can be upgraded. All this was done in a style modelled on productions from 32-bit consoles.

Yooka-Laylee is a 3D platformer developed by Playtonic Games, a studio created by the experienced developers who played a crucial role in the development of Rare's biggest games. The game's title is a blend of the protagonists names. Yooka, the first of them, is a chameleon who has an unusually long tongue, which can be used to grab onto various surfaces and cover large distances. The other one, Laylee, is a bat who can use sonic attacks.

Pokemon Rumble World is set in a realm of toys, where the players are invited to catch as many Pokemon as they can. The game world is divided into various locations which you visit one by one. After getting to a new region you must first challenge a wild Pokemon and then you are taken to a special arena, where you have a chance of making the Pokemon your ally.
Gauntlet: Slayer Edition

An upgraded version of Gauntlet, a title with arcade origins known from early stages of PC gaming. The remade version (released in 2014 on PC) was developed by Arrowhead Game Studios. Gauntlet: Slayer Edition is a new incarnation of a dungeon crawler released on arcade machines in 1985. The players enter a fantasy world, and their task is to explore grim dungeons inhabited by dangerous monsters (giant spiders, armed skeletons), or even ghosts.
Rez Infinite

A refreshed version of the cult-classic rhythm game from 2001. The new edition, developed by Enhance Games studio lead by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, has been adapted to make use of virtual reality goggles, but a traditional gameplay is also available. Aside from the content present in the original game, the developers added a new location, called Area X. In Rez Infinite, the player’s task is to remove the effects of a malfunction inside an advanced AI called Eden.

A 2D action adventure game that combines Scandinavian mythology with modern pop culture elements. It was developed by Castle, a Russian-American studio. The protagonist is a red-bearded Viking called Sigurd, whose biggest dream is to enter Valhalla. The story of Die With Glory is non-linear to a large extent, which means the way the hero achieves his goal is largely dependent on the player’s decisions. Gameplay-wise, the title combines platforming elements with adventure and strategy.

The remake is developed by Vicarious Visions. Crash Bandicoot 3 HD takes place just after the events that occurred in the previous entry in the series. Cortex’s space station crashes on Earth. This causes the evil deity Uka Uka to break free from his confinement.

A spin-off of the Trials series, an arcade motorcycle racing game. Trials of the Blood Dragon is set in the pulp cyberpunk universe known from the standalone expansion for Far Cry 3. The plot takes place in the near future, and you play as a pair of twins, Slayter and Roxanne Colt, the descendants of the protagonist of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. The game's mechanics copy those of the previous installments'—you ride a motorcycle and participate in races on platform levels full of obstacles.

The plot of Laser Disco Defenders is set in a cartoonish sci-fi realm where the main characters defend the world against various threats. Our protagonists must retrieve a powerful artifact called Mirror Moon that had been stolen by evil Lord Monotone, who plans to use it for his (evil) purposes. The game is a classic 2D twin-stick shooter.
The Watchmaker

A steampunk action-adventure game with logic features. The title was developed by the independent studio Micropsia Games from Chile. The Watchmaker takes place inside a giant clock tower, and during the game the player assumes the role of a guard named Alexander. One day, a sabotage takes place in the tower, disrupting the flow of time and causing the protagonist to grow old extremely fast.
