9th Dawn II: Remnants of Caspartia for AND and iOS is a continuation of an RPG game called 9th Dawn, developed by Valorware studio in 2012. This is a Premium application, so once you pay for it, you do not have to worry about adverts or microtransactions.
The action of 9th Dawn II: Remnants of Caspartia again takes place in a fantastic world of Vayle. Players undertake a difficult mission which will shape humans’ future. Your objective is to bring back prosperity to the kingdom of Caspartia – once a great nation. The problem is that brutal Dydrinil reigns now.
Valoware’s production is inspired by classic RPG games, but it also has many elements of contemporary titles – the story is complex, characters are interesting and well-designed, the action is swift, and at the same time friendly for new players. This is all supplemented with the multiplatform cooperation mode.
In 9th Dawn II: Remnants of Caspartia published on AND and iOS, you are in control of a hero whose abilities are developed in progress of playing. Gameplay is based on travelling through locations where enemies, traps, and secrets await. Everything takes place in real-time, so combat slightly resembles hack ‘n’ slash productions and exploration sometimes requires skills, while e.g. jumping on moving platforms. An extensive dialogue system, crafting, and the necessity of solving simple puzzles serve as additional attractions.
The world is diverse - during your journey you will end up in great forests, visit ancient ruins, dangerous caves, cities, and travel to the northern icebound part of Caspartia. A large part of gameplay is filled with different main- and side quests, so you never wander around without purpose.
Graphically, 9th Dawn II: Remnants of Casparia on AND and iOS is not spectacular. The action is seen from the top-down view with a fixed camera. Characters and environment are not very rich in details. However, if compared to the first part of the game, the title looks much better.
