Fighting, 2D, Indie Games, Internet, Multiplayer, For 2 Players, Singleplayer.

A fast-paced, two-dimensional fighting game inspired by classic titles from Capcom and the golden age of Neo Geo arcade machines, funded through the Indiegogo website. Yatagarasu: Attack on the Cataclysm is an enhanced and improved version of the 2011 game that appeared only in Japan. Its story mixes mythology and history of Japan, as we go back to 20th century, when the government establishes organization of assassins, known as Yatagarasu, to cope with a revolution by eliminating those who oppose the authorities. Yatagarasu: Attack on Cataclysm greatly expands the original campaign for single player, adding many new plot threads. Game mechanics were also improved, with several new heroes – each with his or her unique fighting style – and more abilities for existing characters. The same goes for the visuals, which still give an old school vibe while offers higher resolutions.

The action takes place in Europe and we assume control of land, air, and naval armies of the chosen side, although we might as well lead a custom coalition comprised of any number of nations from the list of more than 30 countries available.
