Adam's Venture Chronicles on PS3 and PC is an action adventure game set in the 1920s, in which we play the role of Adam Venture - traveler and treasure hunter. The production is a compilation of three episodes from the Adam's Venture cycle, previously released only on personal computers. The title was originally created for PlayStation 3 users, but more than 2 years after the console release, it also appeared in digital distribution on the PC.
The action of the game begins in an old Templar church, where the hero, while searching the monuments collected there, encounters the diary of Charles L'Heureux - a knight fighting at the side of Richard the Lion's Heart in the third crusade. There are notes about a manuscript indicating the location of Eden's garden - Adam, of course, is doing everything to confirm these revelations and to reach this biblical land.
Unlike other productions embedded in similar realities (Deadfall Adventures, Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta), dexterity elements significantly give way to various puzzles and puzzles testing our ability to think logically. A total of 60 different challenges will be solved in the course of the game. However, there is no shortage of dynamic sequences characteristic for the genre of platform games, in which the hero defeats various arcade sequences located in historic buildings or temples.
During our adventure we travel several different locations, located in Europe and the Middle East - among them there are various temples and medieval castles. In the PS3 and PC versions, the game is characterized by simple, slightly comic-like graphics, created using the Unreal Engine. The soundtrack of the game is the work of Jonathan van den Wijngaarden, an award-winning Dutch composer.
