Age of Respair

Age of Respair is a real-time strategy game in which we travel back to the Middle Ages to build a castle and manage an entire kingdom and its army. This is the debut project of the independent studio Respair Games.

Gameplay

Age of Respair is a combination of a city builder and an economic and military strategy. The aim of the game is to design and build castles with their fortifications and to erect surrounding settlements that will provide the necessary resources for the development of the entire kingdom.

The necessary resources include wood, stone, and iron. They are extracted by the residents and then transported to the warehouse. This allows us to create supply and production chains that will be used to expand the stronghold.

Apart from production, an important aspect of the game is providing food for our subordinates. It's up to us whether we take advantage of apple orchards or create an entire bread baking system based on wheat fields, mills, and bakeries.
